Wishmakers On Campus^®

Join The Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of South Carolina’s Wishmakers On Campus program, a fundraising program designed for high school and college organizations, such as student governments, athletic teams, Greek organizations and class groups, interested in contributing some of their time and energy to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Through the program, your group can:

• Increase awareness of the Make-A-Wish^® mission
• Foster the value of community service
• Create school spirit
• Empower students to be actively involved in helping to grant wishes to courageous children
• Provide partnership opportunities between students, school and community
• Experience the joy of helping a child

The program includes fundraising ideas and objectives to simplify the planning process. Your group simply adds your own creative touch to existing ideas or creates a project of your own. The fundraising possibilities are endless- anything from a 5K walk/ run to a bachelor/ bachelorette auction or silent auction. By participating in Wishmakers On Campus, you can help bring a ray of hope for children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. A fulfilled wish can replenish a child’s faith in the basic wholeness and goodness of the world. It lifts them up and carries them away to a place where dreams still do come true. It brings the magic back and with it…hope– as valuable a treatment as any medicine on Earth!

One spectacular addition to our Wishmakers On Campus program is its new sponsor - Trusted Choice^®! Trusted Choice^® Agents in South Carolina joined forces with Make-A-Wish South Carolina in early 2012 by donating a grant of $50,000 to match 100% of the funds raised through the Kids For Wish Kids and Wishmakers On Campus programs. Local Trusted Choice^® agents have been participating in check presentations at schools across the state to spread the news and funds! Local agencies will also take part in workplace giving projects to enhance the matching grant amount.
