As soon as volunteers met with Eva, a 6 year old with complex congenital heart disease, she declared her love for the Disney
Whether she is watching their movies or playing dress up in their gowns, Eva dreams of growing up to be a beautiful princess, just like them. With visions of tulle and tiaras, and maybe a handsome prince, Eva wished to be a princess in Walt Disney World® Resort!
Once Eva arrived in Orlando, Make-A-Wish® South Carolina arranged for the ultimate princess makeover at Disney’s Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique in Disney’s Magic Kingdom®. Like any true princess, Eva’s hair was styled, makeup applied, and nails painted with her own personal fairy godmother at her side, but the fun did not end there. Eva was also told to choose her favorite gown, shoes and tiara to complete her look before having a photoshoot to capture her magical makeover! Twirling in her new gown, Eva was excited to get to the parks and meet some of her favorite characters especially the Princesses and Princes from her favorite movies! She enjoyed her time with every character that she met, but there was one person in particular who made her wish special. As soon as she met Prince Naveen, he immediately noticed that her green gown was the same one that Princess Tiana owned.
As they laughed and joked with each other, Eva knew that she would have to see him one more time before heading home. “She was insistent that we go back and see him, and he was the greatest! He remembered her name and made her feel so special. Now, Prince Naveen is all that Eva can talk about,” recalls her mom, Jamie.
