Neely's wish was granted when she adopted Chloe, an adult golden retriever. Chloe has had a large emotional impact on Neely. More than ever since her wish, Neely is laughing and smiling because she has found joy with her furry companion. The confidence she has gained is a direct impact of her wish.
Faith's wish brought her Folly, a standard poodle puppy. Faith and Folly formed a deep bond as the puppy grew and learned how to help Faith with every day tasks such as opening doors for her and alerting Faith's family when a seizure was about to occur. Faith has found independency with many physical tasks that she has never been able to accomplish before.
Both Neely and Faith train their service dogs at the same location. The families have been able to bond and know that they can share advice and triumphs with one another.
Recently, Neely, Chloe, Faith and Folly gathered for a photo session with Make-A-Wish South Carolina to share their story. Here are some bonus photos from the session.
