The mobility for outdoor adventures

On National Believe Day, Jonathan got to believe in outdoor adventures

Jonathan is an outdoorsman at heart. There’s not much more he enjoys than fishing and camping at State parks with his family. But having chronic kidney disease requiring Jonathan to have medical equipment nearby has made it difficult to go out and enjoy explore nature. So, Jonathan, more than anything, wished to have a camper.

On Macy's National Believe Day - a day that celebrates wish granting at Macy's stores across the nation - in Greenville, SC Jonathan arrived at Macy’s to a cheering crowd wearing camouflage (Jonathan’s favorite “color”) and lining a red carpet, excited to see his wish come true. For a moment Jonathan shyly took in the crowd of smiling faces but soon forgot them as he gazed down the carpet and saw his camper waiting at the end.  Walking quickly, he made a b-line for the camper and strode in to take a look around.

What he saw was so much more than a camper. He saw mobility and freedom. Now, the world is open to Jonathan to explore. He can easily travel to any park and also have a safe and comfortable place to meet his medical needs. Jonathan’s wish will provide years of outdoor adventures.
