Greenville, South Carolina (September 21, 2015) – Make-A-Wish® South Carolina is deeply grateful to have been chosen as the beneficiary of
Greenville High School’s 2015 Spirit Week. From September 11-18, 2015, Greenville High School students, led by Student Body President, Emma Batson and Vice-President Kat
hleen Hill, raised funds and awareness for Make-A-Wish South Carolina. G.H.S. held many events to fundraise as well as conducted an online silent auction and organized an online fundrai
sing website. Due to the diligence and determination of the students they raised a tremendous $206,000.00.
“The students at Greenville High School – and all of the kind and generous folks who supported their Spirit Week events – made meaningful investments in hope, strength and joy for children facing life-threatening medical conditions.” said Bill Tiller, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish South Carolina. “All of us at Make-A-Wish® South Carolina are deeply grateful for the generous contribution from Greenville High School.”
Make-A-Wish South Carolina cannot fully express just how appreciative we are and how impressed we are with the students – the future leaders of our community. There is little more moving to the heart than kids helping kids and we are proud to showcase Greenville High School as a shining example in our Kids For Wish Kids® program. Their selfless contribution to our cause will have a lasting impact in the lives of wish kids.
